Defend Your Credit Card from Fraud

2011
05.24

Credit card fraud is one of the main contenders in the diminishment of credit ratings worldwide. A large percentage of those victimized by credit card fraud will go on to face the heartache and rage of experiencing identity theft as well. And even as more credit card companies and consumers are becoming fraud-savvy, there are still a great number of those consumers that don’t take pre-cautionary measures or companies that don’t take the issue of security seriously enough.

Always use the recommended safety features that come with the card and check out the policies in place to deal with the situation of unauthorized charges and identity theft coverage. Always check every single monthly purchase as outlined by your bank statment as so many people assume that their bank will do the work to protect your assets. Nothing could be farther from the truth even as it has a legal responsibility to protect you as a customer.

Real Credit Solutions

2011
05.21

Real credit solutions aren’t easy to find. Opinions are like, well you know, everyone has one. I’m so very tired of my poor credit challenged clients coming to having received the most horrible credit advice you can imagine. “They told me to get 3 secured credit cards” or “I have to get into a debt consolidation program”, these are myths I hear all the time as a loan originator. There are two credit solutions you really need to know about to get your credit repair campaign going. The first is you may need 1 secured credit card, not 3. If you already have a credit card than you don’t need another you just need to pay it down to 10% of the available balance. The second credit solution is to call Lexington Law! These guys are good, they will do all the heavy lifting for you, its worth every penny.

I Was Looking at This Recently

2011
04.12

I was up late one night and I was trying to figure out how to declare personal bankruptcy. I guess I was just curious because all of my bills have been on time for years. But, I see these commercials on the television all of the time and I guess I just got a little curious about it. Those are the kinds of things I do when it is really late on the weekend and I just can’t seem to get to sleep. I have tried everything from drinking warm milk to taking a hot shower and nothing makes me the least bit tired. I guess I probably spend too much time in front of the computer before bed. I hear that all of that light can make your brain try to stay awake even if you have moved into a dark room. I guess I will try to eliminate that and see if I can get to bed earlier.

Why You Should Dissolve Self Managed Super Funds Plan

2011
04.06

Probably you are already a trustee in Self Managed Super Funds and want to wide them up. To dissolve the fund so that it can cease to exist, you need to have sufficient reasons. There are a couple of reasons why you can decide to wide up an SMSF. If all other trustees or members have died and you are now alone, the wisest step would only be dissolving the plan. If the expected benefits for all trustees have been processed, you can close it. You may face a situation where other members cannot continue being active because they have permanently relocated to another foreign country. According to the Australian superannuation fund, such a SMSF may not meet the pre-set rules. Bleaching this retirement pension’s requirements attract severe penalties which some trustees may fear. If such members decide to stop their dealings in the trust, also because they cannot cope with ambiguous management issues, you can wide it up.

2011

If you are a resident of Virginia, you might know that there are several local agencies that give donated cars away to people who are less fortunate. Donating a car can help people who are having a difficult time commuting in the busy Washington D.C. metro area. If you are someone who is planning to donate a car to charity in virginia, there is one tip that will help you get the most out of your charitable decision.

When you are contacting a charity that you have never heard of before, be careful and do your homework. There are some companies that attempt to affiliate themselves with a legitimate charity by choosing names that sound similar to the real charities name. Before giving your car to anyone claiming to work for a charity, make sure they are a registered charity and that your vehicle will be used to help someone in need.

In today’s world carrying around large amounts of money is not a good option as there are high crime rates and not to mention how many times people misplace or simply lose their money. Well with prepay credit cards that is not the case, as it eliminates you carrying around large amounts of cash and provides a safe way for you to adequately put away your money. In addition, prepaid credit cards do not accrue interest you have to pay to the credit card company for the simple fact that on a normal credit card you are borrowing money, and with prepaid you are actually using your money instantly. Furthermore, the prepaid credit card companies offer allow theft security protection, which is providing a full refund if ever your prepaid credit card is stolen and used illegally to make purchases of which you did not solicit. Prepaid credit cards are safe and secure.

Online Shopping: an Innovation of the Decade?

2011
02.28

Online shopping has been named the second most useful innovation of the last decade in a survey by research firm Foundation, falling second to the invention of home broadband. I am hardly surprised. For a long time, consumers have been sick of the limited retail options supplied by the average high street (think Bognor Regis, not Oxford Street!) Buying online often yields bargains for shoppers also and this is imperative selling point of purchase decisions in these tough economic times.

I would hazard a bet that online auction website eBay and retailer Amazon are the main driving forces behind the second place win for online shopping. The electronic payment service that is PayPal has only helped to increase the popularity of buying goods online further, allowing those with poor credit histories and credit cards for bad credit to send to online retailers monetary payments without the need for credit and debit cards.

Second Chance Credit Cards Help You Rebuild Credit

2011
01.27

Second chance credit cards are credit cards available to people who have a bad credit rating. Many banks and financial institutions have realized that there are a great many people who get a bad credit score but can still recover from it and bring their credit rating back up. Before, you would simply have to wait the length of time it took for your name to be removed from those with bad credit before you could do things like get a bank account or a credit card. This new way of thinking is allowing people to get second chance credit cards and rebuild their creditworthiness. There are a few options to choose from with second chance credit cards. One is the secured card, where you put down a deposit and that amount is your available line of credit. An unsecured card is also an option for those with extremely bad credit. These cards carry high interest rates, but both options allow you to start rebuilding your credit.
