Either of these two topics can result in a bitter argument if both people are passionate about their differing points of view. You can easily destroy all chances at a friendship if you discuss controversial topics too soon.

Is it always true that we should never bring up the topic of politics with someone we have just met? PHP Programming – How to Do it on Your Desktop

2012
01.20

One of the main problems for the newcomer to PHP programming is that PHP is a server orientated program. This means that all the PHP scripts have to be uploaded to the server before they can be tested. This can be a major put off for the new PHP Programmer who is reluctant to jeopardise his website by running incomplete scripts.

A way round this is to use Wampserver, an open source windows web development environment. Wampserver allows you to reproduce your server environment on your own desktop thus eliminating the problem of having to upload your scripts to your website to test them.

Wampserver allows you to use Apache, PHP and the MySql database. To implement the latter it also comes with PHPMyAdmin which allows you to easily manage your databases.

That means you don’t need to download Apache, MySql and PHP separately.

So, first goto the Wampserver website and download the latest version of Wampserver and install it. Installing Wampserver is very simple; most of the time you don’t even have to change any installation options from the default. There is one possible problem that users of Skype may have, Wampserver attempts to use the same

How To Cook The Best Steak In The World

2012
01.05

Every person likes their steak cooked a different way, so throughout this article I will make sure that I cover each possible different way so that you will always get the best result for yourself or whoever you cook for.

There are several different cuts of beef that will make a great steak, and there are also many grades of beef to consider, depending on what the cow was fed on the farm, so your first step is to choose which one you would prefer. The choices include rump, scotch fillet, porterhouse, eye fillet and T-bone as the main premium cuts generally eaten. The beef’s grading will come down largely to marbling and maturity of the meat. There is a debate as to which is better out of grain-fed and grass-fed cattle, and really the answer is grass-fed beef is healthier for you as it is the most natural form of the cattle, while grain-fed beef will have a lot more marbling and flavour, so I will leave that choice up to you which way you want to go. As for maturity, I recommend finding a butcher that will hang your meat for quite a long time in

Sharing the Road with Tractor Trailers

2012
01.04

For the automobile driver and his passengers, a collision with a truck, especially a tractor trailer, can have serious and sometimes fatal consequences. After the fact, it may not make much difference to the injured or dead which driver caused the accident. Moreover, automobile drivers cannot always avoid an accident with a tractor trailer because they have no control over the actions of either the truck driver or his employer the trucking company. Truck driver fatigue, driver substance abuse, poor truck maintenance, inadequate driver and safety training, as well as tight delivery schedules may play a role in tractor trailer accidents. What’s a driver to do?

Fortunately, an automobile driver can employ a number of defensive driving measures which will reduce the risk of colliding with a tractor trailer. First, it is imperative that automobile drivers recognize and respect the operational limitations of tractor trailers. Tractor trailers do not have the same ability to maneuver in traffic that automobiles do. Always keep this in mind as you drive with trucks nearby. For example, where a car traveling 55 MPH can come to a stop within about 265 feet, it will take a large truck 313 feet to stop.

Small Engine Repair – Improving Your Mower Or Golf Cart For Better Fuel Efficiency

2011
12.24

As the summer months roll in and the war in the Middle East continues to rage on, fuel costs are steadily rising. Whatever reason you want to attribute the higher costs of fuel, it’s a simple fact that the prices are going up, and this could affect more than just automobiles. It also affects your mower. However, fuel efficient mowers are becoming all the rage now, and they’re making an impact on consumers and the fuel market. Small motors that are used in mowers are easy to maintain with the right knowledge or the right mechanic. They won’t suck up so much fuel as older models would have, which will save you a pretty penny in this time of expensive fuel and rising costs.

Mowers use small engines, which are relatively simple to build and maintain. They also use a lot less fuel than larger automobile engines. There are a couple reasons for this, one of which involves the fact that small engines are two-stroke, while larger engines are four-stroke. This means that it needs half the rotations in order for the fuel to spark and create the energy needed to power the mower, or whatever equipment that’s

How to Choose and Install a Wall Fish Tank

2011
12.07

Wall fish tanks give a dramatic and elegant look to any room. They can be mounted on a dividing wall so that they can be viewed from two rooms. Although they are more expensive than stand mounted fish tanks and harder to install you will be pleased you have made the effort and investment when you see how good they look and how much they are admired by your visitors. They can, however, be a harder to maintain than a regular fish tank as they are installed in a limited space which makes it slightly harder to access them for cleaning and other maintenance. Some now come with cabinets above or below the tank which can help make access easier.

Some of the newer wall fish tanks come as kits with all the accessories and mounting fixtures needed so that the filters, pump etc. are easily concealed. These are easy to install so you may not need a professional to do it for you. If you are unsure of your skills in this area, however, it is well worth paying someone to do the installation for you so that all you need to do then is to fill
